Our moto: More than a hotel – not just an apartment
Our vision has been to combine the best practices – best design ideas – best services that we have received as travelers and offer these to our guests. A place where we would stay if we were visiting Athens and a place we would long to come back to, at any time.
While looking around Athens for the most appropriate building, we come across this 1930s mid-war abandoned house. With simple lines and a BAUHAUS inspired facade, it was exactly what we hoped to find! The original character of the house is still obvious even after the extensive renovation. This was our target. Guests get to live in an original Athenian home, like real locals.
While designing Keramos Athens our decisions were based on 1 single criterion: “How would I like this place to be if I was staying as a guest”. AREA™ Architects team helped us bring all our ideas into reality.
Located within the Athens Historical Center area of Keramikos, offers walking distance to the city center and all major sites, while the Metro Station “KERAMIKOS” is 5 minutes walk. Keramikos is a lively area with upscale restaurants, bars and clubs, together with the adjacent areas of Gazi and Metaxourgio. At the same time, our location is a neighborhood, offering you the quite and peaceful sleep that you need.
Keramos, son of Dionysos and Ariadne, was the hero of the potters who lived in the area thousands of years ago, in the banks of the Eridanos river that used to cross the area, along with the cemetery of ancient Athens.
